Northwest VEG Eastside Vegan Potluck

  • Stone Tower SDA Church 3010 Northeast Holladay Street Portland, OR, 97232 United States (map)

Join us at 5 pm for our Eastside vegan potluck and/or at 6:15 for our featured presentation. We are back at the Stone Tower SDA Church this month.

For our March program, rescheduled from January due to weather, we will be hosting Food and Water Watch organizer Aimee Travis, to speak about a recent bill to regulate factory farms (SB85), recent victories in stopping CAFOs in Linn County, and the need to build on this bill in 2025. Read more about the issue HERE. Large scale factory farming is responsible for massive pollution of groundwater, water usage, climate harming methane generation, land use, and the inhumane treatment of animals.

For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Northwest VEG potlucks are alcohol-free events, and we start eating at about 5:15. For more information email info@nwveg.org.

Parking: Street parking is available around the church, and there is a small parking lot immediately east of the church. Enter this parking lot from NE. Holladay. If no space is available, there is a large lot 1 block east. Enter that lot from NE 31st north of NE Pacific.
